Where to Ride

Punta Gorda is one of the most bike-friendly cities in Florida, flat, beautiful, and packed with scenic spots just minutes from downtown. Here are some of our favorite rides to get you started. Not sure which one is right for you? Just ask us when you pick up your bike!

Linear Park
Built on a historic railroad bed, this easy 1-mile path winds through Punta Gorda’s charming neighborhoods from Fishermen’s Village to Tamiami Trail. This is the perfect jump off point from Jersey Joe’s front door- less than a 3 minute ride and of course we will walk you though it.

The Harborwalk
A 2.5-mile paved path right along Charlotte Harbor. Flat, gorgeous, and perfect for a leisurely ride. Pass by Fishermen’s Village, waterfront restaurants, and some of the best sunset views in Southwest Florida.

Ponce de León Park
A peaceful ride out to the Peace River Wildlife Center. Keep an eye out for dolphins, manatees, and shorebirds along the way, wildlife spotters love this one.

Cape Haze Pioneer Trail
Eight miles of paved trail on a converted historic rail line, crossing salt and freshwater creeks on old rail bridges. Roseate Spoonbills, Ospreys, and Bald Eagles are common sights. Tip: this one’s especially great on an e-bike!

And this is just the beginning in Charlotte County!
